Ricardo Liborio, in 2001, left Brazilian Top Team to start ATT with hotel executive Dan Lambert as a partner. Dan provided financial support and business expertise while Ricardo formed a small group of Brazilian fighters to join him in Coconut Creek. In just five years ATT grew to a 20,000-square-foot (1,900 m2) headquarters, 20 franchises and several affiliate gyms following their system of MMA training were formed, one of which lead by black belt Guillermo "Willy" Hardoy in the great city of Cape Coral FL.
